It all started when he heard his first Led Zeppelin tune. Even at that young age, those John Paul Jones bass lines made a lasting impression and set him on a course of action involving the bass guitar. “The bass line always jumped out of every song I was listening to”. Dave was influenced by various bass players from all eras including; John Paul Jones, Geddy Lee, Paul McCartney, Sting, John Entwistle, Flea, Duff McKagan, Stu Hamm, and Chris Wolstenholme, just to name a few. “Sometimes less can be more depending what’s right for the song, it’s all about the groove, the feel, and the dynamics”. Dave loves to perform, and to see everyone having a great time. Aside from music he is a dedicated family man, an avid hockey fan, and likes to play a round of golf from time to time. |
